21 yearsf of Theatre Is More than Theatre

Iitti Amateur Theatre (Iitin Harrastajateatteri) has reached 20 years of age. Its life depicts well that bloom of life, that the theatre offers to its realisers, audience and to the partners in cooperation of the field' and travel.

The directing duo, Katri and Jan Nyquist, live in Kymentaka in Iitti,
so their professionalism and training contents are
available in several occasions in Iitti.
For the summer theatre production in 2007 they will direct
Simo Hämäläinen's drama Matti of Hunttala,
and even honoured ex-Chairman of Parliament Mikko Pesälä
will be seen on the stage in 15 performances
from the 29th of June to 20th of July 2007.

Costumier Riitta Liski's incredible and extensive handwork constitutes already a whole costume rental. Iitti's theatre provides costumes to other theatres and to private persons to different occasions.
