Lailan Kammari (Laila's House) in a over a hundred-year-old wooden building in the centre of Kausala exceeds the expectations from a old community hall.
The house has 160 seats: a burgundy coloured lunch restaurant hall with white lace curtains, a night-time karaoke bar, a café where you can place bets and an old-time hall with a big dance parquet and a stage.
Not many buildings can adapt to the customer needs that well.
The pensioner organisations, which organise daytime dances, favour the place as the combination of a dance hall and a restaurant open on daytime is unique in the region.
Lailan Kammari is a good place for weddings and other family celebrations as the beautiful church of Iitti is situated only 7 kilometres away, and the train station is only a few blocks away. There are also excellent services for different kinds of business occasions.

Laila Lindroos, a well-known caterer in the region, brought a cosy atmosphere to the house in October 2006, after which the house has served as a gathering place. Laila has always prepared delicious servings, also at her farmhouse for a big family.
- All my jobs have always related somehow to catering. Finally, I am a fulltime restaurant entrepreneur, says Laila delightedly and writes a new motto each day for the restaurant customers. This time it said:

Lailan Kammari is open on week days from 8 to 21, on Sat 9-18, Sun 11-20 and flexibly on other times by order.
