A New Beautiful Golf Course

The golf course of Iitti Golf in Niskaportti is a modern, well-designed and a quality golf course.

In the scenic isthmus of Kymenvirta and Lake Urajärvi the routes range from field to forest and are accompanied with several water jumps and bunkers. The new course is suitable to grow the character of a beginner as well as an experienced golfer.

The first nine holes of the field were taken into use in the summer 2004. The whole course with 18 holes will be in use in June 2006.

The golf centre is located in a historical milieu. Niskaportti farm received farm rights already in 1637, and a wealthy farm has stood on the location. Its old buildings are now occupied by Iitti Golf as its new host. The glorious place has received a useful and a worthy purpose of use, providing a special atmosphere for the golfers.

Stocks of Iitti Golf had been sold 670 pieces by the end of 2005. Iitti Golf Club has 760 members. The number of stocks and members is limited to 800, which ensures a peaceful and comfortable play surrounded by a scenery, which is a pleasure to the eye.
